Part of Scarlet Raven’s 2024 collection which grew into an exploration of bold, dynamic colours, the artist balances three harmoniously contrasting colours, breathing life into the painting while imbedding the canvas with visual vibrancy.

Raven’s connection with nature is deeply personal, reflected in the painstaking care taken to study the flowers in her own garden. By gardening and nurturing her plants, Scarlett observes their delicate resilient beauty, reproducing these qualities in her textured paintings.

Her newest collection features a dense overgrowth of wildflowers, sunflowers, poppies and daffodils, Scarlett Raven's new collection evokes an enticing portal to a secret garden. Scarlett is best known for her botanical artworks that seamlessly blend floral study and precision with an impressionist's artistic flair, capturing the intense beauty of plant life in striking impasto compositions.

Oversized bluebells on the horizon command the spotlight, while towering sunflowers accustomed to dominating the sky climb the height of the canvas. This whimsical scale conjures the sensation of sitting lower in Scarlett's paintings peering through the dense overgrowth, inviting the observer to become a part of the fauna.

In this new collection Scarlett has worked on completely changing perspective and zooming in, painting closer and lowering the perspective of the viewer to sit more among her environment than the previous observer/witness to nature’s stunning landscapes.
