This is a stunning new collection of 39 original artworks by contemporary British Abstract Impressionist, Scarlett Raven – released in collaboration with Mental Health Chraity, Mind.

A graduate of Central St Martins Ravens bold and dramatic artworks have positioned her as one of the most exciting female impressionists in the UK today, with collectors including Orlando Bloom, Keith Richards, Duffy and Jim Beach (manager of rock band Queen). She has also been featured by titles such as The Tate, ES Magazine, Frieze, Modern Painter, The Times, and The Evening Standard. Her paintings have also been regularly seen on BBC News and BBC arts programming.

Raven's latest venture into incredibly contemporary white textured floral artworks marks a departure from her previous style, in the absence of her signature bright and vivid colours, her artworks are bolder than ever and contain huge emotional resonance. In these pieces, delicate petals and graceful blooms take centre stage, in Ivory white evoking a sense of purity and serenity. However, beneath their surface beauty, there is a deeper narrative still that speaks to the resilience of the human spirit.

Scarlett has experienced five nervous breakdowns most recently in December 2023 and in her deepest despair, has always been brought back by the act of painting and being in nature. In her new white floral artworks, painted throughout recovery from her fifth nervous breakdown she invites us to embrace our vulnerabilities, celebrate our strengths, and recognize the interconnectedness of our shared humanity. With each artwork she creates, Raven reminds us that, even in the darkest of times, there is so much beauty to be found—and that, together, we can cultivate a future where mental health is met with compassion, understanding, and support.
