My work embodies creation through movement and action. Layered by continual development it evolves alongside the artist; my feelings, experiences, insecurities and ideas. I have never exposed myself as a painter in this way; this short film, directed by Matthew Lawes is the most honest and close observation of my work, a challenging experience but one that I feel proud and honoured to share with you. Through the medium of film the viewer can finally engage in the journey I take in each of my paintings. His vision was to create a short film that intensifies the real meaning of the painting by providing the viewer with the opportunity to see the work as I see it. The film does not only refer to the painting but captures the artists involvement, movement, emotion and being.
